Practice Operations Manager
Stephanie
Stephanie
Stephanie brings more than 30 years of experience in dentistry to Bend Prosthodontics, including the last 10 years dedicated to managing specialty practices. Her career has spanned every facet of the dental office—from clinical assisting to leading teams and helping launch new dental practices—giving her a comprehensive understanding of both patient care and practice operations. There is very little in a dental practice she hasn’t seen or solved. Stephanie believes exceptional customer service is just as important as exceptional clinical outcomes and is committed to creating a seamless, welcoming experience for every patient who walks through the doors.

Stephanie began vacationing in Central Oregon more than 20 years ago and always knew this is where she and her family would one day call home. They moved here five years ago and fully embraced the high desert lifestyle. She especially appreciates the long summer season, taking full advantage of hiking, golf, and live music—outdoor concerts being one of her favorite ways to spend an evening.

Outside the office, Stephanie has a passion for discovering new culinary experiences—whether trying a new restaurant or crafting a new recipe at home for her family. She also enjoys setting ambitious fitness goals with her friends and recently completed her first mountain summit and half marathon. Her favorite training partner is Ollie, her 4-year-old chocolate lab. When it’s time to recharge, you will find her anyplace with palm trees and an ocean view enjoying sunrises and sunsets.

She serves as both a skilled chairside dental assistant and our Clinical Operations Manager, combining hands-on clinical excellence with strong leadership.

In this leadership position, Morgan oversees clinical workflows, coordinates complex lab cases, ensures all intricate components arrive accurately and on time, and manages team members to keep the office running smoothly. She also loves traveling and exploring new places whenever she can while trying out all the different foods in every culture. Greece was her favorite place so far. You'll typically find Morgan drinking a coffee and reading a book at home with her 10 chickens whom she has named and all have their own personality!
"My favorite part of being a dental assistant is being able to create relationships with every patient and make them feel seen, heard and comfortable in a place that can be very scary for some. When you see patients continuously over the course of a year, you really get to know them and their loved ones. It's a special thing to be able to make that connection with patients.

Stacy is also learning to play golf and enjoys visiting local courses and the driving range with her husband.

At home, Stacy and her husband have created a space they consider their sanctuary, filled with gaming sessions, streaming their favorite shows, and plenty of laughter. Their family also includes three beloved cats - Sage, Onyx, and Gee who keep life entertaining and complete. Proud of her Italian heritage, she carries on family traditions in the kitchen- a craft passed down from her mother and grandmothers, even making homemade pasta and fresh mozzarella using her husbands’ recipes!

The next time you’re in the office, don’t be surprised if you’re greeted with her signature warmth; and feel free to ask her about her unexpected guilty pleasure: BINGO!

Dental Assistant
Shaley
Brook
Shaley is a central Oregon native, raised in Prineville and moved to Bend after graduating from High School. She is a proud mama of two awesome boys and since she got married in October, has gained two sweet “bonus” boys. Also, a dog mom to two golden retrievers.

When she is not working, Shaley enjoys the arts. She has performed in several musicals and plays in town and loves to sing/ play guitar with her family. Her and her husband own a small business hosting music at various venues throughout Bend and Sisters. Although the past year has forced the business to slow down while they settle in a new marriage and merge their family, they plan on bringing more music to Central Oregon in the future. Shaley has been involved in the dental field since 2018. From patient advocate, insurance coordinating, and sterile tech to her position now, dental assistant. She is very passionate about healthcare and helping people feel safe in a dental chair. Shaley has just recently joined Bend Prosthodontics and is very excited to learn and grow in her position. Dr Schlam and the Bend Pros team share a gentle, kind but professional culture that she is grateful to be a part of. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing a patient’s face light up when they finally get the smile of their dreams and she feels fortunate to be part of that journey.
